Research
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Frye has been heavily involved in research throughout her career. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at both the University of Arizona in the Department of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies, and Southern New Hampshire University in the Psychology Department.
Dr. Frye has numerous publications, including peer reviewed research articles and book chapters. She has presented her research nationally and internationally, as well as received research awards from the American Psychological Association and the American Diabetes Association.
Her research focuses on the neurocognitive, behavioral, and educational functioning of youth with neurodevelopmental conditions and chronic illnesses, and the influence of sleep and sleep disorders on the behavior and functioning of medically and non-medically involved youth.
She aims to translate research findings into evidence-based practices to best meet the needs of clients. A selection of her publications can be found below.
